What is Israel’s sin, in fact, everyone’s sin in these passages? How does this apply to you?
Wednesday – Judges 1:27-34; I Kings 12:25-33; Matthew 5:27-30; II Corinthians 6:14-18
Given our tendency to sin and idolatry, what does God command us to do for protection against temptation? How does this apply to our daily lives?
Thursday – Psalm 15; Matthew 5:13-16; John 17:15; I Peter 3:15
How can we be “in the world, but not of the world”? How can we be salt and light in this world?
Friday – Judges 2:11-2; Deuteronomy 4; Luke 22:14-23; Acts 2:42-47
Israel abandoned God! How did this happen? The Bible says repeatedly that they forgot God. How do we guard against this?
Saturday – Exodus 3:7-12, 6:1-13; Judges 2:18; Hebrews 2:14-18, 4:14-16
Our heavenly Father hears our prayers, cries, and groanings in our afflictions and sympathizes with us, is compassionate towards us. How does that encourage you?
