What was the key to Daniel’s and Paul’s success? How does that apply to you?
Wednesday – Exodus 3;Psalm 2;Jeremiah 1
From these passages describe God’s relationship with the nations of the world. How should that affect our daily lives?
Thursday – Daniel 1:2,9,17; Job 1; Isaiah 45:5-7; Lamentations 3:37-38
What do these passages tell us about God’s sovereignty? How does God’s sovereignty help us face our daily challenges?
Friday – II Kings 17:1-23; Daniel 1:1-7; John 1:1-14; 10:17-18; Philippians 2:5-8
Using these passages and others like them, some theologians have described God’s sovereignty as a “humble sovereignty”. What do you think about that description? How might that apply to us?

In Daniel 1:8-16 we see a good example of Daniel’s wisdom in dealing with the chief eunuch and the prescribed diet. Is it wisdom you can imitate in your life? How? When? Where? Etc.
