March 22, 2015 – Morning Worship
Monday – Daniel 6
I know it’s familiar, read it carefully and see what lessons it has for us as Christians.
Tuesday – Daniel 6:1-5; Genesis 41:1-45; Matthew 5:13-16; Romans 13:1-7; Hebrews 10:34; 11:13-16
What does it mean that we, as Christians, are strangers, aliens, pilgrims in this world? Does that affect how we are to live in this world?
Wednesday – Daniel 6:6-13; Mark 1:35-38; Luke 5:16; Philippians 4:6-7; Colossians 4:2-4; I Timothy 2:1-3
How would you describe Daniel’s commitment to prayer? How about Jesus’? Paul’s? Yours? How does your commitment to prayer compare with Daniel’s?
Thursday – I Kings 8:22-53; Ezra 9:1-5; Nehemiah 1:1-11; Matthew 6:9-13; Ephesians 1:15-23
Read these prayers and speculate about what Daniel might be praying for when he prays three times a day? Any helpful hints for your prayer life?
Friday – Daniel 6:16-27; Deuteronomy 8; II Corinthians 11:21-33
The lesson is so clear and so wonderful: God is with His people and can preserve them in the midst of their trials. What is the application for your life?
Saturday – Daniel 6:28; Exodus 12:33-42; Psalm 23; 119:65-72; John 10:10; Philippians 4:19
Read Daniel 6:28. Daniel prospered while he was in exile far from the Promised Land. How might that apply to us in the world we live in?
