June 14, 2009 – Morning Worship
Monday – Galatians 2:1-10 (esp. vss. 6-10); Leviticus 19:11, 15; Deuteronomy 7:6-11; James 2
“God shows no partiality.” What does that mean here in these passages and to us now?
Tuesday – Genesis 3; Matthew 4:1-11
Satan continually “picks away” at the truth. How do we see that here in these texts? In our lives?
Wednesday – II Kings 5:1-19a; Romans 14; I Corinthians 8; 9:15-23; 10:23-33
In “non-essential” things there is room for flexibility, sensitivity, and compromise. How does the church do this? How do we do it?
Thursday – Jeremiah 26; John 7:40-52; 9
See here different views, opinions of God’s word and Jesus’ work, even among prophets, Jewish leaders, etc. We have the same thing today among Christians, church leaders, etc. How do we respond? What do we do?
Friday – I Samuel 16:1-13; Isaiah 52:13-53:6; I Corinthians 1:26-2:5
“…man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” How can we apply this truth in our lives, our families, and our church?
Saturday – Numbers 9:15-23; Daniel 1; Mark 8:31-38; Hebrews 10:32-39
What do these passages teach us about the Christian life?
