What are the duties of these Levitical tribes? Why does Scripture take so much time describing their job in detail? What does that mean for us?
Tuesday – Numbers 4:15; 1 Chronicles 13
Why was it so important for the Levites to handle the ark with such care? What does this tell us about God, and our relationship to him?

What does the furniture in the tabernacle and temple tell us about our God? Why is it so important that these items be treated with such care?
Thursday – Numbers 4; 2 Timothy 2; Hebrews 13:7–19
How is the role of the Levites fulfilled in the coming of Jesus Christ? In what way do elders play a similar role in the church today? What does that mean for us?
Friday – Acts 6:1–7; 1 Timothy 3
In what way is the role of deacons in the church today similar to that of the Levites in Numbers 4? In what way do we all share similar responsibilities? How ought that affect how we live our lives?
Saturday – Numbers 4:4; Ezra 8; Psalm 99; 1 Corinthians 3:16
The furnishings in God’s house had to be holy because God is holy. What does it mean for us that God is holy? How are holy things to be cared for and guarded? What does that mean for our lives today?
