October 13, 2013 – Morning Worship
Monday – Romans 15:8-12; Genesis 12:1-3; Isaiah 2:1-5
What is the hope of the Gentiles? How does that hope apply to you?
Tuesday – Ephesians 2:11-22; Romans 1:18-32; Psalm 53:1-3
Why do the Gentiles need hope? Why are they hopeless? Do they realize it? Why or why not?
Wednesday – Acts 10; Genesis 12:1-3; Isaiah 49:1-7
In Acts 10 what did the Lord ask Peter to do? Why did he resist? Why was he surprised? Should he have been surprised? Application for you?
Thursday – Psalm 18:49; Deuteronomy 32:43; Psalm 117:1
Extra credit: The Gentiles (nations) in these three verses have a progressive relationship with the Lord. See if you can identify it.
Friday – Isaiah 11:1-12; Psalm 148; Joel 2:28-32
Do you see why Paul uses quotes from the Old Testament to show why the inclusion of the Gentiles was not a new idea?
Saturday – Luke 5; John 8:1-11
How do these passages offer hope to the Gentiles? What do they teach us about reaching out to our neighbor?
