February 20, 2011 – Morning Worship
Monday – Habakkuk 1, 2; Acts 1:6-11
What was Habakkuk’s complaint? What is the Lord’s answer to the complaint? What’s the lesson for us?
Tuesday – Psalms 13; 35:1-18; Numbers 14:11
Notice that both the Lord and the Psalmist ask “how long.” Seems to be a popular question! Why?
Wednesday – Isaiah 10:5-11; Habakkuk 1:5-11; Matthew 27:11-50
Whom does God use and raise up to pour out His wrath? This is certainly surprising and unexpected. Why? How might this apply to us?
Thursday – Habakkuk 2:1-14; Romans 1:16-17; Hebrews 11
What is God’s instruction as to how we should live while wondering “how long”? How do you do this in your life?
Friday – Luke 2:1-38; Acts 1:1-11; II Corinthians 4:7-18; Galatians 4:4
Reflect on these passages and consider how we are able to walk by faith. How are you doing at “walking by faith”? Do these texts help?
Saturday – Habakkuk 2:14; 3:1-19; Revelation 19; 21:17; 22:1-5
Our “walking by faith” looks forward to what? How can we apply this to our daily lives?
