September 11, 2011 – Morning Worship
Monday – Judges 12:8-15
What lessons for us can we find, from these “minor” judges in these few verses?
Tuesday – Joshua 10:12-14; Matthew 24:36-44; John 1:43-51; 9:3; 20:30-31
These passages show us that God communicates only what we need to know. How can we apply this?
Wednesday – Matthew 2:13-23; Acts 12:1-17
How do these passages show us the “mystery of Providence”? How should that affect our attitudes towards others and our day to day living?
Thursday – Job 38-42; Romans 9:14-24
Notice that after 35 chapters of Job asking “why”, God finally answers but does not explain why! What effect did God’s answer have on Job? What effect should it have on us?
Friday – Deuteronomy 28:18-68
See here the consequences of disobedience and rebellion against God for His people Israel. Do you see any parallels in the book of Judges?
Saturday – Matthew 25; John 5:24; Philippians 1:19-23; Revelation 21:1-4; 22:1-5
Death is a reality we all will face. How should we prepare for it? How should it affect the way we live?
