Living by faith or living by law – which is better? Why? Can we do both?
Tuesday – Psalm 38; Romans 7:7-25; I Timothy 1:15-17
To walk by faith we must acknowledge what about ourselves?
Wednesday – Leviticus 18:1-5; Romans 3:9-20; 10:5; Galatians 3:12
God’s word says “the one who does them shall live by them”. So why can’t we live by the law? Isn’t that what God commands?
Thursday – Luke 17:7-10; Deuteronomy 28:1-14
Extra credit: if we could perfectly obey God’s law would He owe us, or be obligated to reward us? To save us? Why or why not?
Friday – Exodus 20:1-21; Matthew 5:21-48
Meditate and reflect on the Ten Commandments and the Sermon on the Mount. How do you measure up? How should that affect you?
Saturday – Matthew 21:28-32; Psalm 32; Romans 4:1-12
King David, tax collectors, and prostitutes all found hope in the same doctrine – what is that?
