November 13, 2011 – Morning Worship

Monday Judges 19
The writer of Judges is beginning to wrap things up. He’s making one of his main themes very clear – what is it? What can we learn from it?

Tuesday Genesis 6:5; Psalms 14:1-3; 53:1-3; Romans 3:1-20
It’s not just in Judges, it’s throughout the Bible – what is it? How can we apply it?

Wednesday Genesis 19:1-22; Judges 19
Compare Genesis 19 with Judges 19: note the similarities. What might the writer of Judges be teaching us?

Thursday Judges 19:22-30; II Samuel 12:1-23
In this horrible story it’s easy to feel sorry for the concubine. Should we? Why or why not? What can we learn from this?

Friday Genesis 3; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:21-31; 7:7-25
Underneath the particulars is the basic fundamental problem that all men have. What is it? What or who is the answer?

Saturday Judges 17:6; Isaiah 30:1-17; Ezekiel 36:22-32; Luke 19:1-27 (esp. vs. 14)
Basically the natural man does not want to do something or have something – what is it? What do we all need?
