What does the Apostle Peter see as Balaam’s sin? How is do we as 21st century Christians in America face Balaam’s temptation?
Wednesday – I Kings 13; James 3
Why does God take it so seriously when his ministers disobey his Word? How does this apply to us as individuals and as a church today?
Thursday – Matthew 22:35–23:39
Are Jesus’ “woes” against the scribes and Pharisees an attack on organized religion or is he inveighing against the devastating effect that teachers who seek “wrongful gain” have on those who are taught the Word? How are we tempted to follow in their path?

How is Balaam’s behavior toward his donkey like that of the unforgiving servant? How is the Angel of the Lord therefore a picture of the irresistible grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
