February 21, 2010 – Morning Worship
Monday – Galatians 1:8-9; 5:1-15 (esp. vss. 11-13); Jeremiah 15:1-9; Matthew 23
These passages seem to have such harsh language. Why? What is the application for us?
Tuesday – Isaiah 30:1-17; Galatians 1:10; II Timothy 4:1-4
Why are there so many who distort the gospel and the Word of God? How and why do we?
Wednesday – I Kings 22:1-28; Acts 19:11-34; 21:27-36
Why does the preaching and sharing of the gospel result in persecution? Have you experienced this?
Thursday – Genesis 39; Jeremiah 1:18-19; Matthew 5:10-16; Acts 5:17-42; Romans 8:16-18; Philippians 1:29; 3:8-11
Consider all these passages and see examples as to how we should respond to persecution. How can we encourage ourselves and one another to apply these?
Friday – Matthew 5:38-48; 7:12; Romans 9:1-3; Galatians 1:8-9; 5:12
Here we see that we should love our enemy and curse the enemies of the gospel. How do we do both – or do we?
Saturday – Galatians 5:1,13; Exodus 4:18-5:3; Ephesians 2:8-10; 4:17-5:21
The people of God in the Old Testament and the New Testament were saved, delivered, freed, not to do whatever they wanted, but to serve God and their neighbor. How is that freedom?
