MondayJoshua 23

Read Joshua 23. What are the lessons for the Church of today? For you?

TuesdayJoshua 23; Matthew 24:36-51

Read these two portions of scripture. Are they teaching the same basic idea? What is it? What is the application for your life?

WednesdayJoshua 23:1-8; Judges 2:8-23; Deuteronomy 6; Psalm 78:1-8

Read all these passages first. Joshua’s about to die: he wants Israel and its leaders to know and do something. What is it? Why? Did they do it? Did it work? What’s the best plan?

ThursdayJoshua 23:3-5; Exodus 23:20-33; Psalm 105; Matthew 28:16- 20

As the Israelites go out to conquer the rest of the Promised Land, Joshua encourages them to go with confidence. Why? What’s the application to your daily life? To the church?

FridayJoshua 23:6-13; 1:7-8; Deuteronomy 4:1-24; I John 2:1-6; 5:1 -5

These passages stress the importance of obedience to the word of God. We are to be “careful”, or “take care”, or “be dili- gent”, etc. to remember and obey the word of God. What’s the application for you?

SaturdayJoshua 23:14-16; Deuteronomy 28:58-68; Matthew 25:31-46

The word of God is very clear that the judgment of God is real and is coming in the future. Has the church made this clear today? Have you? Should you?
