December 20, 2009 – Morning Worship
Monday – Luke 2:1-20; Zechariah 9:9-17
Consider the shepherds and the angels. What lessons do you see there for us?
Tuesday – Genesis 50:15-21; Isaiah 10:5-19; Acts 2:22-24
The rulers and powers of this world are still fulfilling God’s sovereign will, even though they don’t know it! How should that encourage us?
Wednesday – Luke 2:6-7; Genesis 39, 40
There was no room at the inn for Christ. What does that teach us about Christ? About the world we live in? How does it apply to us?
Thursday – Luke 2:8-9; Genesis 12:1-9; Mark 1:16-20; Acts 9:1-19; John 1:14
Consider to whom the Lord revealed Himself, with whom He desired to dwell. How does that amaze you? Encourage you? Why? How can we apply it?
Friday – Luke 2:13-14; Psalm 148
God used the heavenly host to praise and glorify Christ at His birth. How should that affect our view of Christ and our worship?
Saturday – Luke 2:15-20; John 9
What do the angels and the blind man teach us about witnessing? How can we imitate them in our sphere of influence?
