April 8, 2012 – Morning Worship
Monday – Matthew 28:1-10; II Kings 4:8-37
“He is not here, He has risen.” What does that mean for us?
Tuesday – II Samuel 12:1-23; Mark 14:32-42
Sometimes we pray for things, hope for things, expect things (good things!) and we don’t get them. How do you handle it when this happens?
Wednesday – Matthew 28:6; John 16; Philippians 1:12-18
Jesus is gone – even His body is gone from the grave! How can this be a good thing? Or in Christ’s words, “a better thing that I go away”?
Thursday – Matthew 28:6; Isaiah 50:6; 52:13-53:12; I Corinthians 15
He is risen, it is finished, He is at the Father’s right hand, out of reach of His enemies forever. How does that apply to you?
Friday – Matthew 28:6; Genesis 17:1-14; Exodus 12:1-13
Reflect on Christ’s great love and our great sin: that the giver of life Himself would go through death, lay in the grave, because of His great love and our great sin! Praise His name!
Saturday – Luke 24; Mark 16:1-4; Colossians 2:15
Rejoice – our savior has triumphed over sin and death! How can we apply that glorious truth in our everyday lives?
