Monday – Romans 3:21-31; Exodus 12:1-13
From these passages, what is the gospel?
Tuesday – Romans 3:21-26; Exodus 12:14-28
Luther insisted that “justification by faith alone” is the article upon which the church stands or falls.” Do you agree? Why or why not?
Wednesday – Romans 3:22; Hebrews 11; Exodus 14:15-25
What is faith according to these texts? What does faith look like in our everyday lives?
Thursday – Leviticus 16; II Corinthians 5:21; 8:9
Jesus’ death on the cross for our salvation is called “the double transfer.” How is His death for us a “double transfer”? Why is it so important for our salvation?
Friday – Isaiah 61:10; 64:6; Romans 5:8; Philippians 3:8-9
Even though our righteous deeds are “like a polluted garment” we are clothed with the “garments of salvation” and “covered with the robe of righteousness” through faith in Jesus Christ. What is your response to that glorious truth?
Saturday – Isaiah 53; Matthew 25:31-46; John 5:24
By faith in Jesus Christ we are saved from the wrath of God to come! Do you have that faith? Do you rejoice in your salvation?
