Consider the connection between “the Word” and “the life” in John 1:1-5. What is it? How should that affect us?

“The light shines in the darkness.” What does that mean for us? How does it apply to you?
Friday – John 3:16-21; II Chronicles 18:1-27; Matthew 23
Why is the world, i.e. darkness, so opposed to the light, i.e. Jesus and His gospel? Even more amazing, why were the religious leaders so opposed to Jesus, His words, His gospel? What do we learn from this?
