How do we think of ourselves with sober judgment? Why do we tend to think of ourselves more highly than we ought? How does this apply to you?
Wednesday – I Corinthians 12; Nehemiah 4
Reread I Corinthians 12: why is the human body such a good metaphor for the communion of saints? How does it help us to have a sober estimate of ourselves and a proper view of others?
Thursday – John 13:1-20; Philippians 2:1-11; Matthew 20:26-28
What is the attitude we should have about ourselves and others? Is this your attitude?
Friday – Romans 12:6; I Corinthians 12:4-7; Matthew 25:14-30; I Peter 4:10
What does God expect us to do with our gifts, talents, abilities, etc. that we have by His grace? Are you doing what he expects?
