Monday – John 1:1-18 (esp. vss. 1-3); Genesis 1
Compare John 1:1-18 with Genesis 1. What do we learn about the person and work of Jesus Christ? Also compare the use of “the Word” in both passages.
Tuesday – Psalm 33:4-7; 107:19,20; Ezekiel 37:1-14; Romans 10:14-17
What do we learn here about the power of God’s word? How does that apply to you?
Wednesday – John 1:1-3; 14:25-31; 16:4-15; Acts 5:1-11; II Corinthians 13:14
The doctrine of the Trinity is both a glorious one and a difficult one to comprehend – i.e. one God in three persons – the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. How do we see the Trinity in these passages?
Thursday – John 1:1,2,18; 8:48-59; 10:30; 14:8,9; 20:24-29; Exodus 3:13,14
From these passages – see that Jesus is fully God. How is that a comfort to us?
Friday – Ecclesiastes 2; John 11:17-27; Ephesians 2; Colossians 2:15-20
Jesus is the answer to mankind’s deepest problems and needs. How do we see this in these passages?
Saturday – John 3:16; 10:30; 14:9; Hebrews 2:14-18; 4:14-16
Since seeing Jesus is seeing the Father then the Father is like Jesus. Why is that very good news for all who believe in Him?
