February 19, 2012 – Morning Worship

Monday Romans 1:18-32; Deuteronomy 4:23-26
“The wrath of God is revealed” – why? How can God be a God of love and a God of wrath? How does that apply to us?

Tuesday Romans 1:18-23; Isaiah 30:8-12; Jeremiah 35:12-19
What does it mean “who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth”? What truth? Why suppress it? Why is this so bad (i.e. to provoke God’s wrath)?

Wednesday Romans 1:18-23; Psalms 19:1-6, 50:6
Why is there no excuse for “not knowing the true God”? How should that affect our lives and witness?

Thursday Romans 1:21-23; Isaiah 44:9-20; Jeremiah 17:9
“Their foolish hearts were darkened” – what does that mean? How does that apply to you?

Friday Proverbs 3:5-6, 14:12; Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 36:22-32; John 9
What’s the antidote to a “darkened heart”? How does this apply to unbelievers? And to believers?

Saturday Ecclesiastes 2:1-17; Isaiah 1; John 3:16; Romans 5:8, 7:7-25
Man is sinful and deserves the wrath of God, who is perfectly holy, just, and righteous. Sounds hopeless doesn’t it? Where is hope to be found?
