If we are saved by grace through faith in Christ, why the law?
Tuesday – I Timothy 1:3-11; Luke 5:27-32
Who needs the law? How does that apply to us?
Wednesday – Romans 7:7-25; James 1:22-25; Ezra 9
The law is like a mirror (i.e. when we look into it, we learn something about ourselves). What do we learn? How does that help us?
Thursday – Hebrews 12:3-11; Jeremiah 29:1-14
God shows us His law, His curse on sinners, His discipline of His people – all because He loves us! How can that be?
Friday – Galatians 3:19; Genesis 28:10-22; Luke 2:8-20
“The law was put in place through angels.” What do you think that means for us in understanding the law?
Saturday – Galatians 3:19-20; Matthew 5:17-26; I John 1:5-2:2
Jesus is Mediator of both law and gospel. How can that be? Why should that bring us comfort?
