March 14, 2010 – Morning Worship
Monday – Galatians 5:16-26 (esp. vss. 19-21); Psalm 15; Matthew 7:15-23
What does it mean that “you will recognize them by their fruits”? What are your fruits? How can we be more fruitful?
Tuesday – I Samuel 15:1-23; Acts 5:1-11
See how easy it is to deny or rationalize our sins. Examine yourself and see if there are areas of denial or rationalizations for sin that you need to deal with.
Wednesday – Job 1; Luke 4:1-13; Romans 7:7-25; I Peter 2:11
We have a powerful and cunning spiritual enemy and are at war. Why is this hard for us to believe? Or is it?
Thursday – Deuteronomy 7; Ephesians 6:10-20; I John 4:4
How should we prepare for the warfare we are in? What should encourage us and give us confidence? Have you experienced this in your daily lives?
Friday – Titus 2:11-14; II Peter 3:8-11; Matthew 5
We are to seek to live holy, righteous and good lives in the world. Why? We are saved by grace and not by works; so why the commands to live holy lives?
Saturday – Psalms 26, 139; John 3:21
Consider Psalms 26:2; 139:23-24; John 3:21. Is this what you desire God to do in your life? Why is this hard to do? Why is this so good to do? Is this your prayer?
